We treat spiritual preferences, relationship questions, and questions submitted for readings as sensitive personal information and handle such data with heightened care. This information is used solely to deliver personalized readings and services and is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our Site or use our App, we automatically collect:

  • App events (in-app actions, purchase events, subscription activations, funnel progression);

  • Cookie and tracking technology data (see Section 6).

2.3 Information from Third Parties

We may receive information about you from:

  • Meta Platforms (Facebook/Instagram): If you interact with our advertisements, Meta may share hashed event data with us through our Conversion API (CAPI) integration to measure advertising performance;

  • Advertising networks: Click and conversion data to attribute purchases to advertising campaigns;

  • Analytics providers: Aggregated and individual behavioral data about how users interact with our Services.

3. Sensitive Personal Information

Certain information we collect may constitute “sensitive personal information” (“SPI”) under California’s Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) and similar state laws. Categories of SPI we may process include:

  • Information you provide in quiz intake forms relating to spiritual beliefs, religious orientation, or philosophical inclinations;

  • Information related to your mental or emotional state, relationships, or personal challenges, where you choose to share it as part of receiving readings;

  • Account log-in credentials;

  • Precise geolocation data, where collected.

California residents have the right to limit the use and disclosure of their sensitive personal information to that which is necessary to perform the Services. To exercise this right, contact us at readings@therelationshippsychics.com or use any sensitive PI controls available in your account settings.

4. Consumer Health Data

If you are a resident of Washington (My Health My Data Act), Nevada (SB 370), Connecticut, or another state that regulates “consumer health data,” certain information you provide may fall within the scope of those laws, including:

  • Information related to emotional, mental, or relational well-being shared during readings;

  • Information that may reflect efforts to seek health, wellness, or mental wellness support;

  • Inferences derived from your use of the Services regarding your mental or emotional state.

We treat such data with heightened care. We do not sell consumer health data. We obtain consent before processing consumer health data for purposes other than providing the Services you have requested, or as otherwise permitted or required by law. We do not engage in geofencing around health-care facilities for the purpose of consumer-health-data-based advertising. To exercise rights regarding consumer health data, or to request additional information, please contact us at readings@therelationshippsychics.com or see our Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice, available at mysticareadings.com/consumer-health-data-notice.

5. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To deliver and personalize our Services, including generating and delivering readings and responses;

  • To process payments and fulfill orders;

  • To manage your account and subscription;

  • To send transactional communications (order confirmations, receipts, account alerts);

  • To send email marketing and promotional content (with your consent and with easy opt-out);

  • To send SMS marketing and transactional text messages (where you have provided express written consent);

  • To analyze and improve our Services, content, and user experience;

  • To measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns;

  • To detect and prevent fraud and abuse;

  • To comply with applicable laws and regulations;

  • To enforce our Terms of Service and other policies.

6. Third-Party Service Providers

We work with the following categories of third-party service providers who may have access to your personal information solely for the purpose of providing services to us. We require all service providers to protect your data and use it only as directed by us.

6.1 Payment Processing – CheckoutChamp

We use CheckoutChamp to manage our e-commerce storefront, process orders, and handle subscription billing. Payment card data is processed by CheckoutChamp’s integrated payment processors and is not stored on our servers. CheckoutChamp’s privacy practices are governed by their privacy policy.

6.2 Email Marketing – ActiveCampaign and OmniSend

We use ActiveCampaign and OmniSend to send marketing and transactional email communications, manage subscriber lists, and automate email sequences. These platforms store your email address and engagement data (opens, clicks, unsubscribes) on our behalf in connection with delivering our email programs.

6.3 Product Analytics – PostHog

We use PostHog for product analytics to understand how users interact with the App and website. PostHog may collect behavioral data including feature usage, session information, and custom events. PostHog data is used solely for product improvement and is not shared with advertising networks or used for ad targeting.

6.4 Advertising Attribution – Hyros

We use Hyros for advertising attribution and marketing analytics. Hyros receives data about purchases and other conversion events to help us understand advertising performance. This data may include email addresses (processed in hashed form) and conversion event data, and is used solely for attribution and campaign optimization purposes.

6.5 Meta Platforms – Pixel and Conversion API (CAPI)

We use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversion API (CAPI) to measure the effectiveness of our Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns. This involves:

  • Meta Pixel: A JavaScript tag that fires when you visit our website and take certain actions, sending standard event data to Meta;

  • Meta Conversion API (CAPI): A server-to-server integration that sends conversion events (such as purchases, leads, and quiz completions) directly from our servers to Meta. Data transmitted may include hashed email addresses, hashed phone numbers, IP addresses, and other data points Meta uses to match events to Meta user accounts.

This data is used to measure advertising performance, create custom audiences for retargeting, and optimize ad delivery. This activity constitutes “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under California’s CPRA and similar laws. California, Colorado, Connecticut, and other state residents have the right to opt out of this sharing. To opt out, see Section 8 (Behavioral Advertising and Opt-Out) and Section 12 (Your Rights).

6.6 Workflow Automation – n8n

We use n8n as a workflow automation platform that connects our various service providers. n8n may process personal data as part of automated workflows, such as triggering email sequences or updating records based on user behavior or app events.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience and collect usage data. Types of technologies we use include:

  • Essential cookies: Required for the Services to function (session management, authentication);

  • Analytics cookies: Used to understand how you interact with our Services (PostHog, Google Analytics);

  • Marketing and conversion tracking cookies: Used to measure advertising effectiveness and enable retargeting (Meta Pixel, Hyros);

8.1 Global Privacy Control (GPC) and Universal Opt-Out Mechanisms

We recognize and honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out of sale and sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising for users in jurisdictions that recognize GPC, including California, Colorado, and Connecticut. To use GPC, enable the feature in a compatible browser or extension and visit our Site.

8.2 Manual Opt-Out

You can also opt out of targeted advertising through:

9. SMS Marketing

If you have opted into SMS communications, we use your mobile phone number to send transactional and marketing text messages. We use third-party SMS providers to deliver these messages. Opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties except for messaging providers and aggregators enabling the program. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from us.

10. Data Sharing and Disclosure

12. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

13. Profiling and Automated Decision-Making

We use behavioral data and analytics to personalize content recommendations, optimize advertising delivery, and improve our Services. We do not make decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects (such as denial of services, lending, employment, or housing) solely through automated processing. To the extent applicable state laws (including Colorado, Connecticut, and California regulations implementing CPRA) provide rights regarding profiling or automated decision-making, we will honor those rights upon verifiable request.

14.3 Right to Correct

You may request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.

14.4 Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information

You may request that we limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information to that which is necessary to perform the Services. See Section 3 for the categories of SPI we may collect.
